My name is Freddra Reyes, and I am honored to hold the title of Miss Global Cuba 2024, representing not just a crown, but the strength, pride, and resilience of Cuban heritage. As a young woman born in 2001 and raised in the vibrant city of Miami, I carry with me the spirit of two cultures that have shaped me into the woman I am today — bold, passionate, and deeply connected to my roots.

My journey into the world of dance and modeling began at the age of 15. Dance quickly became a form of expression, healing, and identity — from ballet and contemporary to the powerful rhythms of tacones and urban dances. At 18, I stepped into the

professional world, balancing my academic path at Florida International University with my growing career in the arts. But like many, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected challenges, including the heartbreaking loss of my uncle — a father figure and one of my biggest supporters. His memory gave me the strength to persevere, return to my studies, and graduate in 2023, stronger and more determined than ever.

Becoming Miss Global Cuba 2024 has been a deeply meaningful milestone. This title reflects not only beauty, but resilience, purpose, and the responsibility of being a cultural ambassador. Through the Miss Cuba USA Organization, founded and led by the incredible Alina Robert, I have been given a platform to grow, evolve, and dream bigger. Alina’s mentorship and vision have been instrumental in opening doors and guiding me toward international stages, including the possibility of representing Cuba at Miss Supranational — a global competition that aligns with my mission to inspire and uplift others.

Looking ahead, I am committed to continuing my work as a dancer, model, and cultural representative. I aspire to become a television host and to use media as a tool for empowerment and connection. I also hope to travel internationally as a performer, carrying the Cuban flag with pride, sharing stories through movement, and empowering women to pursue their passions without limitations.

One moment I’ll never forget was walking onto my first major stage after the pandemic — the lights, the silence before the music started, and the feeling that I was exactly where I was meant to be. It reminded me that even after loss and hardship, purpose will always find its way back to you.

As I continue this journey, I hold onto a quote that guides me:

“Your roots are your power — never be afraid to grow from them and reach for more.”
